Privacy Policy

Last updated June 20, 2026

BoardPath is in pre-launch. This policy describes our current practices and may be updated as the product becomes generally available. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.

This Privacy Policy explains how BoardPath (“BoardPath,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit boardpath.tech, join our waitlist, apply to our design-partner program, or use the BoardPath application.

Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Waitlist signups: your email address, association name, and role.
  • Design-partner applications: your name, email, phone (optional), role, association or management company, state, community type, management model, unit count, current software, and what you tell us about your governance needs.
  • Application data (for active users): the governing documents and related records your association uploads, and the questions you ask.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage and performance analytics: we use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights, which collect aggregate, privacy-friendly usage data without cookies and without selling personal data.
  • Server logs: standard request metadata (such as IP address) used for security, rate limiting, and debugging.

How we use information

  • To respond to waitlist signups and design-partner applications, and to contact you about early access.
  • To provide, operate, and improve the BoardPath product for active associations.
  • To send transactional email (for example, a confirmation when you sign up). We do not send marketing email without your consent.
  • To protect the service against spam, abuse, and security threats.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us run BoardPath, under agreements that limit their use of it:

  • Supabase — database and authentication.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.
  • Vercel — hosting and analytics.
  • OpenAI, Anthropic, and document-processing providers — to generate answers and process documents for active associations.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

Your governing documents stay yours

For active associations, each association’s document corpus is private to that association. Your documents are not sold, are not shared with other communities, and are not used to answer another association’s questions.

Data retention

We keep waitlist and application information for as long as needed to evaluate and communicate about early access, and association data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time (see Contact).

Your choices

  • You can opt out of further email by replying to any message or contacting us.
  • You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; contact us to exercise them.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and limit access to it.

Children

BoardPath is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
